A Ugandan mother who gave birth to an unplausible forty-four children was banned to have any more children.

Married at the age of 11, 39-year-old Mariam Nabatanzi was birthed twins a year later. After her first children, because of her unnaturally over-sized ovaries, Nabatanzi delivered five sets of quadruplets, four sets of triplets and five more sets of twins.
Three years ago, the 39-year-old was forsaken by her husband, leaving her as the sole caretaker of her 38 children. Nabatanzi lives in four inconvenient houses with furrowed iron roofs with her kids, local news reports. They live in a village flanked by coffee fields, about 50 km north of Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Doctors have now stepped in to stop spitting out any more offspring from Nabatanzi.
She told local media that her uterus according to the outlet, had been cut from the inside.” The mum has been advised that her ovaries are unusually large and that doctors have instructed her not to use contraceptive pills due to health concerns.
She has already lost six children, her last child died three years ago during childbirth three years back. The family is living in extreme poverty as Nabatanzi is doing all sorts of odd jobs she can to make money, including brewing local gin, hairdressing, selling herbal medicine, selling scrap metal, and even decorating events, Report by news outlets. Experts believe that the immoderate fertility of the mother is hereditary, prompted by hyper-ovulation.
